The only Law & Order worth watching, Special Victims Unit, is losing Elliot Stabler!!
The seksi actor, in real life known as Christopher Meloni, is ready to pursue other projects, but luckily, will give one more season after the show’s 11th year finishes in May.
Meloni says,
“I think 12 years is enough, a good number. The writers will have fertile ground to figure out how to arc him (Elliot) out to another place ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ whether it’s this world or the next. It will be a very difficult transition. I mean, Jesus Christ, every day when you get used to getting up early and working these hours. When you’re an actor (not working) it’s like, ‘Has anyone called yet?’. And having to audition again, which I loathe.”
And we’re not the only ones upset about the news. Co-star Mariska Hargitay, who plays his partner, the awesome Olivia Benson, was moved to tears when she spoke about her character saying good-bye to his.
“I don’t think she could be without him. She loves him, he’s her other half.”
We’re grateful he’s giving the series one more year, but then what will we do??? So sad!!
Maybe Ice-T‘s wife, Coco, can take over as Benson’s partner!! That police station needs some class!
Or Hilary Duff can return as her negligent mother character turned detective!!!
