Justin & Hailey Bieber Flee To Canada To Self-Isolate -- & Film TikTok Videos To Kill Time!

Justin and Hailey Bieber are quarantining in style

Justin and Hailey Bieber have traveled quite a distance to isolate themselves from crowds amid the coronavirus pandemic!

According to reports, the couple took a private jet from Los Angeles to the superstar’s native Canada on Monday as the country decided to close its borders to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

A source close to Bieber explained to People:

“They plan on socially distancing themselves. In Canada, their home is very secluded and they are able to be out in nature still… They plan on staying in Canada until it’s safe for everyone to resume their regular lives.”

Until then, the Biebers are finding a fun way to kill time: filming TikTok videos! On Tuesday, the married pair entertained fans by performing popular dance routines to a mix of Lil Jackie’s Slidegang! and Dem Franchize Boyz’s Lean Wit It, Rock Wit It. The clip was first posted to Hailey’s TikTok account, then later shared to Biebs’ Instagram for posterity.

In a separate post, the Yummy singer encouraged fans to isolate themselves until experts have more answers about the deadly virus, writing:

“Obviously this is a really scary time. I wanted to remind everyone what we can do when we come together!! LETS COME TOGETHER BY ISOLATING OURSELVES UNTIL WE HAVE MORE ANSWERS! Our grandparents are counting on us”

The Biebers’ retreat to the Land Of Maple Leaf comes after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced Monday that the country has closed its borders to everyone but Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and US citizens due to the pandemic.

He said:

“We can still slow the spread of this virus. It is time to take every precaution to keep people safe.”

Days before making the border announcement, Trudeau addressed the concern over his wife Sophie Gregoire testing positive for the virus earlier this month. He said in a press conference:

“Sophie’s symptoms remain mild, but we are following medical advice and taking every precaution. She will remain in isolation for the time being. We are thinking about all the families across the country who’ve received the same diagnosis, but we’re in good hands. We have full confidence in Canada’s health officials and professionals.”

What are YOU doing to pass the time in isolation, Perezcious readers?
