It’s gotta be hard to be Justin Bieber these days…
…or rather, it’s hard to be his lawyers these days!
After all, the Biebs is facing NEW charges of assault in Toronto after turning himself into police yesterday (above). But fear not, Beliebers, because the teen king is denying, denying, denying — Just like he’s playing the DUI and resisting arrest matter in Miami!
Although he was booked, released, and scheduled for an official court appearance up north, Bieberoni’s lawyer seems to feel pretty confident that this whole little violent mess will clean itself up.
In a statement, Biebsy boy’s lawyer said:
“The Toronto Police Service requested that Justin Bieber appear in Toronto today to face an allegation of assault relating to an incident on December 29, 2013. We anticipate that this matter will be treated as a summary offense, the equivalent of a misdemeanor in the United States. Our position is that Mr. Bieber is innocent. As the matter is now before the Court, it would be inappropriate to address the specifics of either the allegation or of our defense at this time.”
Oooh, they already have a defense??
Perhaps they’ll claim that the Biebs couldn’t have assaulted the driver because he was off spray painting somewhere or drag racing or egging a house or…
…well, good luck with that defense.
