Just call him Professor Kanye West!
The former College Dropout, received an honorary doctorate from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago on Monday — and it was quite the affair.

Kim Kardashian took to Twitter and shared a pic (above) of her husband receiving his degree.
She shared:
“Dr. Kanye West!!!!!!! I’m so proud of you baby & I know your mom would be so proud too!!!! “
Aww!
But before he was Dr. West, Kanye gave advice to the young artists in a Q&A lecture on Sunday night. And let us tell you that he did not disappoint!
Unlike his Oxford University lecture, Kanye allowed cameras and cellphones into the classroom which lead to some great viral moments — like the reveal of his personal mantra!
He shared:
“But I’m motherf*cking Kanye West.”
AH-Mazing! And of course, the rapper showcased his softer side by quoting Frozen and saying that he really does smile — despite the misconception.

However, some alumni are furious that school is considering the Gold Digger performer a “fine artist.”
Corinna Kirsch, an SAIC alum and senior editor of art magazine Art F City explained:
“As an alum of SAIC, I am offended that the school’s exorbitant tuition and fees will help fund this nonsense.”
Honestly, I don’t think the superstar really cares — he’s dealt with worse haters.
