Kate Cassidy has returned to Instagram for the first time since the world lost Liam Payne with a somber post.

On Friday, the model shared a throwback picture with the late One Direction singer at Urban Lights, a popular art installation at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The romantic snap shows the couple gazing lovingly into each other’s eyes as they stand beneath the plethora of lampposts.

The second photo in her carousel is sobering, though… it’s her in the same spot — this time all alone. In the caption, the 25-year-old model writes about how it felt to be there without Liam by her side:

“I thought this place would feel empty without you, but instead, it’s filled with the warmth of this moment we shared”
