Kate Middleton Was NOT Happy With Recent Bad Press -- Because It Was Partially True??

source says there is some truth to kate middleton story in tatler

Kate Middleton isn’t backing down!

As we previously shared, a report in Tatler about Kate Middleton being “trapped and exhausted” due to Megxit ruffled some royal feathers and was later dismissed as being riddled with “inaccuracies” by Kensington Palace.

Legal action is now being taken against the mag after lawyers for the Duchess sent a letter requesting the article be pulled from the web, but now we’re hearing there was some truth to the story after all…

At least according to an Us Weekly insider! They noted how the momma of three was furious at the idea that this has brought bad press upon her fam, “especially the part” about Middleton’s “huge workload” post-Megxit, which we’ve also heard from other sources, too!

This idea was shot down last week by Kate and Prince William‘s residence, with their spokesperson declaring:

“This story contains a swathe of inaccuracies and false misrepresentations which were not put to Kensington Palace prior to publication.”

It’s been made clear the glossy is standing behind their work and isn’t buying into any “categorically false” claims from the Cambridges. A statement from the mag read:

Tatler‘s Editor-in-Chief Richard Dennen stands behind the reporting of Anna Pasternak and her sources. Kensington Palace knew we were running the ‘Catherine the Great’ cover months ago and we asked them to work together on it. The fact they are denying they ever knew is categorically false.”

Apparently, the support Kate received from Kensington Palace on the matter didn’t sit well with Meghan Markle, who has been subject to bad press over the years as well, to the point that she’s currently involved in a lawsuit.

But it seems Middleton’s sister through marriage might be getting the last laugh after all!

We shared how a source from The Sun revealed the controversial article’s writer, Anna Pasternak, is friends with former Tatler journalist Vanessa Mulroney, who happens to be the sister-in-law of Meg’s longtime BFF, Jessica Mulroney.

“Pasternak is sticking to her story and saying her sources are good. She is very well connected in the US. She is friends with Vanessa Mulroney who used to work at Tatler and now lives in Canada. And Vanessa’s sister-in-law Jessica is Meghan’s best friend. It’s intriguing.”

Intriguing indeed!

For those not keeping up with the Sussexes, Jess and Meg have been close for years since meeting through their respective styling work and have maintained a close bond. Even as Markle relocated to the UK to be closer to Prince Harry before her eventual engagement and marriage.
