Marc Shapiro├óΓé¼Γäós Who Is Katie Holmes? An Unauthorized Biography was released on Wednesday — a tell all book that goes all the way back to Katie├óΓé¼Γäós childhood through her marriage to ex-hubby Tom Cruise.
An insider reveals:
├óΓé¼┼ôKatie has been so focused on Suri and getting her career back on track, that she just doesn├óΓé¼Γäót see the point in someone publishing a book with stories that have already been reported in the past… She├óΓé¼Γäós disappointed that people try to capitalize on her life├óΓé¼┬ªespecially when it├óΓé¼Γäós certain things from the past she├óΓé¼Γäós been trying to let go of or forget.├óΓé¼┬¥
However, the New York Times best-selling celebrity biographer shares a different view:
├óΓé¼┼ôKatie Holmes is not the typical Hollywood rags to riches story. In true storybook fashion she came out of nowhere to become the next big thing with Dawson├óΓé¼Γäós Creek, but after her sudden stardom she became just another working actress. She did films that never boosted her back up the ladder to true stardom.”
He continued:
