Though Friday’s news of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise divorcing surprised many, it seems that there had already been telltale signs that Katie was SO over their relationship weeks ago!
Just last week, Katie was spotted in NYC with 6-year-old Suri, looking seemingly happy and carefree.
However, as one source points out:
“She’s been miserable for a long time, but the last couple of weeks, she’s been happy — like she’s been set free. I was wondering what changed with her. I guess she can finally be happy again.”
Let those wings fly, gurl!
It sure sounds like Tom held her back from a LOT of things and was super controlling with all his Scientology shiz…
Now that those papers are filed and Katie has secretly rented an apartment in NYC, we hope she will do what├óΓé¼Γäós best for their daughter and that this all gets resolved peacefully — for Suri’s sake!
Tom, on the other hand, was also seen taking flight as well recently…in a helicopter, as he made his way back on set in Iceland!
