She said it best “I am a product whore”, which is exactly why Katy Perry is coming out with her very first fragrance this fall.
The new stank, Purr, was inspired by Katy’s Catwoman stage costume and will be sold exclusively at Nordstrom in November.
The California Gurls explained how she named her kitty-named fragrance, saying:
“I├óΓé¼Γäóm a very lyrical-based person, and the whole ├óΓé¼╦£purr├óΓé¼Γäó thing kept coming back ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ [the sound is in] perfume, perfect, even Perry if you say it a certain way. It just seemed logical. The hardest part was keeping it under wraps for a year [during the development process]. I kept wanting to tell someone!”
The peach nectar, forbidden apple and green bamboo notes of Purr will come in packaged in a cat-shaped bottle with jeweled eyes and will retail between $36 and $65, depending on the size.
