Well, this would certainly explain all of Katy Perry‘s apparent bitterness following her split from John Mayer!
As we’ve reported, the frequently on-again/off-again pair seemed to have called it quits for GOOD this past week, and since their respective representatives have yet to make any official announcements on the issue, many are speculating about what could have possibly been the straw to break the camel’s back!
Well, according to the latest issue of People Magazine, it seems that the Born & Raised crooner may have been up to one of his elaborate, womanizing schemes all along….because sources close to KatyKat are alleging that he may have planned the entire relationship and break-up to coincide with his musical comeback, following his much-publicized vocal problems!
Insiders explain:
“He’s very defensive and comes across as extremely jealous of her career. He’s basically using Katy, who fits into his plan to stay in the spotlight right now.”
Wow!
If this is true – and from the anger seething out of some of her recent Twitter messages – then we’d say this guy has reached new levels of f-ckery!
We hope he feels very proud of himself. Ugh.
