Kelly Ripa is taking a stab at one of Instagram‘s latest trends!
The Live with Kelly and Ryan host took to the social media platform on Sunday to share her spin on the 2020 calendar meme, which is meant to document your mood throughout the months of this wild year. But instead of highlighting her facial expressions, Ripa showed off something else entirely: her month-by-month gray roots!

She wrote:

Speaking of honesty, Ripa and her crew recently spoke with People about their special bond, learning from each other, growing up, and more, for the annual family issue. The daytime host explained her daughter Lola Consuelos has taught her more than a few life lessons:
“It really gives me hope — her generation really supports each other, the way she and her friends have each other’s backs. For all the talk about women helping other women, I see it in her generation in a way I never have before.”
Even though she’s 19 now, dad Mark Consuelos shared (below) that he has “mellowed” out when it comes to being protective of his only daughter:
“As overprotective as I thought I would be when she was born and I was holding her in my arms, I’ve mellowed a bit. Because I’m really aware of what a good head on her shoulders she has.”
Ripa, who is also the momma of 23-year-old Michael and 17-year-old Joaquin, added:
“I think I had definitive ideas about raising girls versus raising boys, even though I don’t really believe in gender stereotyping. My sons are just as sensitive as my daughter, and my daughter is as strong as my sons.”
We think Kelly looks great no matter what, but many commenters suggested a family member help her out at home with her roots. Could be a bonding experience?!
