Kelly Ripa’s Hilarious Response To Amy Robach & TJ Holmes' Affair Scandal!

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos don’t plan on making the same mistakes as Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes!

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Thursday, the 52-year-old television host spoke out about the former Good Morning America co-anchors controversial relationship. As you know, T.J. and Amy made headlines for months after their secret love affair was exposed when pictures and videos of them getting cozy together dropped. Mind you, the two were both still married to their respective partners, Marilee Fiebig and Andrew Shue! Their scandal eventually led them to get fired from GMA. Oof.

So what does Kelly have to say about the controversy? Well, she is taking extra precautions to make sure she and Mark don’t end up in the same predicament as Amy and T.J. WWHL host Andy Cohen asked about her hubby joining her on Live!:

“This is a good question. I don’t know if you’ve been asked this. As someone who’s about to have your husband join you as co-host, what was your reaction to the news of Amy Robach and TJ Holmes relationship on GMA3?”

Before Kelly answered, the Bravo executive noted that he felt the couple should have kept their jobs since it would’ve been “more compelling.” But the momma is still not taking any chances! She reacted:

“Well, look. Very compelling, but Mark [Consuelos] and I have taken a vow of chastity while we’ll be working together. Because I know that ABC does not like that TV partners banging on the side. So, we promise. No banging on the side for us.”
