Kelly Ripa and her peeps over at Live! with Kelly have officially confirmed their pick for permanent cohost, after ‘auditioning’ a slew of various guest presenters!
Rumors have raged recently over who Kelly’s on-screen other half would be, but the announcement was made Tuesday morning during the Live! broadcast that New York Giants defensive end Michael Strahan would DEFINITELY be parking his tight end next to Kelly’s for the foreseeable future!
During Tuesday’s show, Strahan expressed:
“I adore you and I am so happy to be here and be a part of this. You know how they say it’s a dream come true? I truly can’t say that because I didn’t even know I could dream this.”
Then, always the gentleman, Strahan pulled out Kelly’s chair for her and stated, “Let’s have a seat,” while NEW graphics reading Live! with Kelly and Michael flashed on the screen!
Aww tears! Sounds emotional!!
We will sure miss ya Regis, but we’re glad Kelly chose such a warm, charming, and delicious looking man to be her television cohort cohost!
