OK, we knew Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos were hot for each other. They’re one of those couples who never left the honeymoon phase and are always all over each other in public. And on social media.
But give them half a chance, and they’ll get even more TMI than you were expecting!
The pair joined Andy Cohen and Bruce Bozzi for a very revealing chat on the SiriusXM Radio Andy show Quarantined with Bruce on Friday.

First Andy opens up about how the period of self-isolation has meant a huge dry spell for him. We should hope he’s staying far away from everyone, seeing as the Watch What Happens Live host was diagnosed with the coronavirus about four weeks ago. But sadly being responsible takes its toll; in fact he thinks it’s now the longest he’s gone without having sex ever! (We assume he means since adulthood.)
While the lockdown has meant big changes for Kelly and Mark, the abstinence was not something they could relate to. Like, at all!
They revealed they NEVER go very long without hooking up, even after all these years. The most ever is a couple weeks when Mark is “on the road working” — but they always find the time.
Speaking about their flawless sexual chemistry, Kelly explains:
“We found each other at the right time in our lives, we were really young. We learned each other well. And with that comes a certain level of comfort and confidence and experimentation. We have fun. We enjoy [each other].”
Experimentation? Ooh, do tell!
For real, why didn’t Andy or Bruce press her on that? It feels like a total missed opportunity. LOLz!
The couple met way back in 1994 when Kelly was still on All My Children, and Mark was auditioning to play her love interest. Little did he know he was doing it IRL as well! They got married just two years later, and since then they haven’t been able to keep their hands off one another.
As Mark ever so sweetly puts it:
“You check off all the boxes for me”
Gentlemen, take note, that is the only acceptable use of the word “box” in a sexual context.
With all their fun and enjoying each other, the couple almost immediately started making beautiful babies, who are all basically adults themselves now. Michael, 22, Lola, 18, and Joaquin, 17, are currently at home, though, sheltering in place with Mom and Dad, which is mostly great. Mostly. Momma jokes:
“They’ve been great. The only challenge, I think, is surviving their endless — they make fun of us constantly. It’s endless. As soon as I leave the office and I’m done with my show and I walk into the kitchen, they are on me. They are totally making fun of every word I’ve said, everything I’ve done.”
Have ya tried talking about your sex life with them? That’s like a doomsday weapon in your back pocket if you ever want to repel your kids!
Seriously, it’s mostly been a nice family experience. Michael and Lola have both been off living on their own, and having parents who can look after them right now is a big deal. Kelly says:
“They are filled with gratitude. They are also thrilled that they’re not having to do their own laundry and cook their own meals. They have a newfound appreciation for us.”
We bet!
We just hope they show that gratitude by giving their parents plenty of space every day for a little workout time…
