Star Seeker

Ashley Graham

Vogue's Idea Of Diversity Obviously Includes Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Ashley Graham & A MASSIVE Photoshop Fail!

So many models!
Vogue
‘s March issue is all about celebrating diversity, so that totally explains why Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid are featured on the cover.
Sort of.
While by far the biggest household names, the duo are also surrounded by Liu Wen, Ashley Graham (her first US Vogue!!), Imaan Hammam, Adwoa Aboah, and Vittoria Ceretti (from left to right)!
Talk about a supermodel sandwich!

And as you might have guessed from the text on the cover (above), the fashion glossy is highlighting empowering females! Except for the fact that they probably photoshopped the main page — and fans are calling them out on it.
As pointed out by multiple Twitter users, Gigi’s hand and wrist look stretched, while Ashley’s legs appear to be smoothed and thinned out:

Hmmm.
On celebrating bad ass babes who don’t need photo editing, Kenny shared in the magazine:

“This is my second Vogue cover, and to be sharing that not only with one of my best friends, but with all of these amazing women, is very meaningful for me. With all that’s going on in the world, this cover makes such an important statement. It’s like, hey, we’ve got our differences, but those differences are beautiful. Everyone is beautiful.”

Gigi agreed, divulging a similar sentiment:

“Most of the people I know in this industry are compassionate and open-minded, and they appreciate creativity and originality. It’s like, can’t we just honor that? I mean, look around. These are the people actually making fashion. All types, all working together to make magic…. It’s funny to me when people say that I’m this ├óΓé¼╦£girl next door’ because although I know I can come off that way, from another angle, I’m pretty exotic,” she says. “I mean, as different as Imaan and I look, we probably share DNA. If I’m ├óΓé¼╦£all-American,’ what does that even mean? But then again, my parents came to this country as poor immigrants. So. . . . Maybe I’m pretty damn all-American after all. Not because of how I look but because I truly believe everyone should be equal and free.”

Equality for all!
But as you probably know, both starlets have been featured on the cover of Vogue before. Ashley, on the other hand, is celebrating her first-ever front page of the US edition!
We couldn’t be more proud!
Using her platform for good, the sexy supermodel brought more awareness to the fact that the majority of American women aren’t a size two:

“Sixty-seven percent of the women in America wear a size 14 or larger. Sixty-seven percent. Maybe you could ignore those consumers before, but now, thanks to social media, they’re making their voices heard. Women are demanding that brands give them what they want. And what they want is to be visible.”

Yes!
