UPDATE 2/5/2018 3:30 P.M. EST: Canadian police will continue to investigate the “circumstances” surrounding death of Kim Cattrall’s brother Chris. Royal Canadian Mounted Police Corporal Chris Warren told People “no foul play suspected.”
This is just awful.
Earlier this morning, we reported that Kim Cattrall‘s brother, Chris Cattrall, was missing from his home in Alberta, Canada.
Well, now we know a little more to the story: unfortunately, Chris has passed away.

Kim made the announcement on social media this afternoon, sharing a picture of the two of them together while reporting the “unexpected” death (below):
