Are Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky about to finally figure things out?
So suggests the 55-year-old reality TV veteran herself, at least! On Sunday, Kyle was at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards. Prior to the show, out on the red carpet, People asked her about the persistent presence of marital problems that have kept her and Mau’s names in the headlines for months. And the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star gave an interesting answer!

Of course, the Bravo vet and the real estate mogul share daughters Alexia, 27, Sophia, 24, and Portia, 15 together — as well as keeping a tight relationship with Kyle’s daughter Farrah, 35, whom she shares with ex-husband Guraish Aldjufrie. So, for Kyle, any discussion about divorce or reconciliation starts with family:
“We’re a family no matter what, and we love each other, and we’re just trying to figure it out. So right now, it’s not on pause. We’re actively navigating through this and working through it.”
Working through it how, though?! The Bravolebrity didn’t get specific about that, as is her right. But she did hint that she and the 53-year-old real estate whiz might resolve this limbo situation VERY soon:
“We’re not going to be in this situation forever, whichever way that goes. Time will tell, probably sooner than later, but we’re hanging in there.”
Sooner than later?! Wow. So this thing really is coming to a head, huh?! And as Kyle notes, there is at least one major positive aspect amid all the strife: she and Mau still get along well enough to keep things civil. She explained:
“The good thing is we get along well, and we were at an event last night together with the family. And I don’t know, it’s been working for us. It’s kind of strange, but hey, like I said, we’re family no matter what.”
Amen to that last part. Seriously! Even through all the marital strife, it’s heartening that Kyle and Mau can still see that. And there have been really tough times. Heck, just last week, Kyle pontificated on whether the whole thing was too painful for her to keep going on RHOBH!!
What do U make of all this, Perezcious readers?? From July of last year when the first reports of trouble bubbled up all the way to now, the rumblings have never ceased. But might they really be coming to an end soon?! Sound OFF with your thoughts down in the comments (below)…
