The drama truly never ends for Keeping Up with the Kardashians, even as it rolls through its 18th season.
The popular reality TV show just unveiled a new 90-second teaser video for its midseason trailer, giving fans an INCREDIBLE look into what appears to be some edge-of-your-seat stuff when the show returns in September.

Headlining the trailer is the KarJenner fam’s fight against the coronavirus, and snippets in the short clip appear to show the group’s early reaction and response to the pandemic first hitting the United States from earlier this spring. Probably most dramatic of all here is Kylie Jenner‘s reaction to the pandemic’s effects on the country, as she says in a self-taped confessional (below):
“It’s just scary when someone so close to home has tested positive.”
Whoa!!! She doesn’t reveal any names, but knowing it’s somebody “close to home” is scary enough for any of us! Yikes!
The trailer also shows the family’s various social distancing efforts — in one particularly relatable scene, Scott Disick voices his frustration about going stir crazy — and we can be sure the COVID-19 storyline will be a mainstay throughout the second half of the season when new episodes return in the Fall.
But even aside from the pandemic, other major dramatic points prevail in the trailer: for one, Scott straight-up accuses Khloé Kardashian of sleeping with Tristan Thompson again in a family Zoom video chat (awkward). Kim backs him up on it, suggesting further sister drama ahead in the not-so-distant future. Kanye West‘s Paris fashion show is another topic touched on, as is what appears to be another lengthy sister battle between Kim, Khloé, and Kourtney Kardashian.
And at one point, Kris Jenner brings up the idea of rehab with her children, after what appear to be paparazzi photogs snap pics of her drinking straight from a vodka bottle. (Wait, WHAT?!) Scott is standing with the photog, though, so perhaps it’s all an elaborate prank?? We know Kris loves her wine, but rehab?! If that’s for real, s**t just got VERY serious!

Most concerning, though, could be whatever’s going on with Kendall Jenner; in one quick clip, Corey Gamble is shown talking with her on the phone. Visibly frustrated — with us unable to hear what Kendall is saying — the video shows Corey lashing out:
“Kendall, man, don’t tell me to shut up. I’m trying to help you.”
Oh no!! What could that be about?!
On top of that, we later see Kim sitting in the back seat of a car, frantically yelling “something’s wrong with Kendall!” There’s no context for why she was doing it — presumably something related to the Corey Gamble thing? — but, hey, that’s why it’s a good teaser… it left us wanting more!

It’ll be interesting to see how the fam deals with the fallout of the coronavirus pandemic, for sure, but apparently, they’ve got a TON of other wild stuff going on now, too. Talk about must-see TV!!!
