Sometimes, you’ve just gotta get outta Dodge!
The latest twist in the never-ending drama surrounding Brittany Cartwright and ex Jax Taylor has left more than a few Bravo fans raising their eyebrows.
As we’ve been reporting, Jax is apparently now romantically involved with Lori Krebs, who just so happens to be his publicist… and Brittany’s former publicist, too. The romance reportedly developed over the last few months before exploding into public view after TMZ published cozy vacation photos just a few days ago of the pair together in Mexico.

But needless to say, not everyone is impressed by this new couple.
On the July 15 episode of her Untraditionally Lala podcast, reality TV vet Lala Kent did not hold back when reacting to the headlines. In fact, she blasted the situation in no uncertain terms, saying:
“These are two bottom feeders. I cannot believe that people move this way in life.”
Yikes!!!
But Lala wasn’t just talking about the situation — she was also doing what good friends do when someone is hurting. According to the reality TV star, once those photos made the rounds online, she immediately reached out to Brittany with an offer to escape the chaos for a little while.
Without diving into all the personal details, Lala explained:
“I’m not gonna share with you guys the details of what went on. Obviously, Brittany is one of my dearest friends and I want her to talk about it.”
Fair enough! Brittany deserves to tell her own story whenever she’s ready.
Still, Lala revealed she knew her pal needed a change of scenery after the headlines took over. She recalled:
“I felt the need to text Brittany and say — I was with her all day — but last night, I was like, ‘Hey, I got invited to Vegas for less than 24 hours tomorrow, and if you would like to come, I would like to get you out of Los Angeles and away from all the s**t.’”
Honestly, that’s the kind of friend everyone needs during a messy breakup saga.
And Brittany didn’t hesitate for long. According to Lala:
“[Cartwright] texted back and said, ‘I think that would be really good for me.’ I was like, ‘Oh s**t! We’re doing it, baby.’”
Good for them!
Sometimes a spontaneous girls’ getaway is exactly what’s needed when real life starts feeling like a reality show!
