Without Ryan Murphy and Glee, would Lea Michele and Cory Monteith‘s real life romance have ever even happened?!
This was one of the subjects the TV honcho addressed during a recent Paley Center celebration held in his honor…
And yes, Mr. Murphy does take SOME credit for setting Monchele in motion!
Ryan dished:
“I directed them in their first scene together and they had that sort of chemistry that you can’t fake, and I said, ‘Uh-oh.’ So I did kind of know. I take credit.”
And bubbly brunette Lea tends to agree!
Glee‘s leading lady proclaimed:
“Yes, I would definitely say he is my matchmaker for sure.”
We shudder to think what would have happened without Glee as a vehicle for their LURVE!
Well, ok, we’re sure they would have found other fine partners, or maybe — serendipity be willing — they would have come together ANYWAY!
