With countless sleepless nights and lots of stress, Lori Loughlin is reportedly a “wreck” right now!
As we wrote on Tuesday, the Fuller House star and husband Mossimo Giannulli were among a small group of 11 parents to get slammed with additional charges in connection to the now-infamous Operation Varsity Blues.
The 55-year-old could be facing several decades in jail when you stack up the mail fraud, money laundering, and new federal program bribery charges against her for allegedly paying USC officials $500,000 to get her daughters, Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose, fraudulently put on the college’s crew team (despite never playing the sport).
Sources close to the embattled couple say the pressure of it all has reached a fever pitch as their day in court looms near!

An insider kept it real about the increasingly bad legal situation when speaking to Entertainment Tonight:
“Lori is worried and has had sleepless nights throughout this nightmare, but she has never felt the fear she has today.”
Another source told E! News the Giannulis are “extremely stressed out” as they come to terms with how the new bribery charges have changed their legal position for the worse. They explained:
“They were told that more charges would be coming, but now they fear the prosecution’s strategy is to keep coming up with more. They are the examples and the scapegoats in this case and they are feeling a tremendous amount of pressure.”
For the record, apparently the families involved were all given a heads up about the prosecution’s latest move. They reportedly had a chance to reverse their pleas or else they would face even more charges, and four of the parents took deals. But Olivia and Bella’s folks didn’t!
“At this point, choosing the path of not making a plea deal could end her in prison for a long time. The reality is overwhelming. Despite being repeatedly told by friends to attempt to make a deal, she has stuck to her guns and still has no plans to plead guilty even with the additional charges. She is convinced that the prosecution is determined to make an example of her.”
According to the confidant, Lori and Mossimo are really starting to regret their decision:
“Lori and Mossimo never wanted to accept a plea that involved jail time, but they are starting to feel their backs are against the wall and that its becoming too much.”
The former Hallmark Chanel actress is reportedly a “wreck behind closed doors” with the source adding “she is not sleeping at all” and “there is so much tension that she could break at any moment.”
As for how Loughlin’s loved ones are dealing with all of this, a source at ET shared:
“The family has united and the children are in full support of their parents. The girls feel so much guilt because they now know their parents took all these risks for their future and, even though it was wrong, they know they only wanted what was best for them.”
Despite growing closer as a family, emotions are still running high as the case shapes up to be a slam dunk — and not in their favor. The insider continued:
“The new bribery charge has affected everyone. Emotionally the whole family has suffered tremendously and it has taken its toll. They are all scared to death.”
While Lori and her fashion designer hubby’s fate hangs in the balance, Felicity Huffman is due to complete her prison sentence next week on October 27. After her release, she will continue to serve supervised release for a year and 250 hours of community service, in addition to paying a $30,000 fine.
Aunt Becky could only dream of such!
