Meghan Markle Telling Friends Harry's 'Spirit Was Being Crushed' By Royal Family & 'Her Love' Set Him Free: REPORT

Now that Megxit has been settled amongst the Royal family, we now have tons of answers about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s new life going forward.

But thanks to a tea-spilling “friend” of Meghan’s we now have more insight than ever before into the mind behind the decision to leave!

DailyMail.com found a pal willing to reveal what the (still) Duchess of Sussex is saying about the couple’s grand exit, and it’s pretty bold if true. For instance, the insider claims Meghan is telling friends Harry always wanted to leave, but “it was her love for him that made this possible.” Wow.

Per the source:

“She said that like her, his spirit was being crushed and she simply couldn’t stand to see him suffer anymore.”

A friend, likely the same one, previously told the outlet Meghan “felt she had to escape because living within the royal confines was soul crushing.” Now we guess she was saving him and not herself? Hmm.

The friend also said:

“Meghan has been telling her close friends that this is the best thing that could ever happen to Harry. That out of anyone he will flourish the most and that it was her love for him that made this possible.”

Well, we don’t know if we’ll ever be able to judge the comment about the power of the Suits star’s love…

On things we can observe, we should say it remains to be seen how positive this change ends up being for Harry. Maybe he’ll regret the decision right away; then again she could be right on the money if all this is true.

And speaking of money, how do they plan to find success outside of the Royal family? Like no one ever has apparently.

“She described herself and Harry as game changers destined to hack the status quo. And now they can finally go about their business.”

Holy crap, did Prince Harry actually marry Kanye West or what??

The friend did have an answer to one burning question some fans of Harry and Meghan’s Instagram may still have: what happens to the ever-growing SussexRoyal account?

Oh, it’s staying right where it is, “Royal” wording and all. The pal proclaims:

“Meghan says they will always be considered royalty regardless of where they live or what they do. Meghan and Harry are not planning on changing their website or Instagram name. They are still considered the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. And they will keep the Royal part in.”

Well, can’t say we blame them. Rebranding is such a pain!

One other insight the insider offered about Harry and Meghan’s new life in Canada? Where they will live.

Per this insider, for the short term they are happy to remain in the $14 million mansion in Vancouver Island where they’ve been living since Thanksgiving.

“Meghan told her friends that there is no rush to move out of the place they’ve been staying. That they’re welcome to live there as long as they like.”

Not only that, Meghan ALREADY considers this place more her home than Frogmore Cottage after just two months!

“Meghan calls it her happy place and says that in the last couple of months, she’s felt more at home than she ever did in the UK.”

Damn. For some people a cottage isn’t enough — even if it does have four bedrooms, a nursery, and a staff.
