Still Happening! Nicole Richie To Star In Reality TV Show

Another Simple Life would have been one unnecessary thing, but her own scripted TV show? Without Paris Hilton?!?!? We are intrigued.

ABC has closed a deal with Nicole Richie to star in a comedy about a professional woman/mom character. The show is being written by Jeff Rake, who wrote the 2009 comedy Miss March.

We’ll be curious to hear more details about the show’s plot as they emerge.

We wonder if this will start a trend. Will other former reality stars get their own scripted TV shows? Would people want to watch original Survivor winner Richard Hatch fighting crime with James Belushi?
