It’s on.
To recap, Desperate Housewives alum Nicollette Sheridan has been pursuing legal action against show creator Marc Cherry for wrongful termination, breach of contract, and battery after her character was killed off the show.
Back in July, she filed new legal papers against Marc, claiming that he fired her from the show “for being a woman.”
Now, the trial has begun, and we’re hearing that it could last as long as “11 days!” Wowsa!
As it stands now, we’re hearing that the case has been trimmed to “just wrongful termination and battery,” and IF Nicollette wins, she’ll be able to reclaim as a much as one year’s salary ($4 million).
Nicollette WANTED to be paid for the entire run of the show…but we’re sure she’ll still make every effort to claim that 4 mil!
We’re hearing that LOTS of current/former ABC execs will be called to testify in this case, including former ABC president Steve McPherson, and former ABC studio exec/current CW president Mark Pedowitz.
Witnesses in the case will include Housewives castmembers Eva Longoria, Felicity Huffman, Teri Hatcher, Marcia Cross, and many others!
