Noah Cyrus Drops Emotional New Song About Complicated 'Family Dynamics' After Messy Love Triangle With Mom Tish!

Noah Cyrus Addresses Family Dynamics in Emotional New Song

Noah Cyrus is opening up about her family drama!

In her new song Don’t Put It All On Me — a collab with the band Fleet Foxes, out on Wednesday — the 25-year-old seems to address her explosive family rift and dealing with having the weight of it all on her shoulders! She sings:

“I can’t look away when I’m watching you move in slow motion / All waves with no ocean / I’m swallowed by the sea / You couldn’t be honest with me, but I know you tried to / But beauty will blind you / Don’t put it all on me.”

“You couldn’t be honest with me, but I know you tried to”?? Heavy!

Elsewhere in the tune, she sings:

“Some days we might fall apart, but we’re never broken / The words that were spoken / Mean nothing to me / By the look in your eye / I can tell that you no longer need me / The feeling is freeing / Don’t put it all on me.”

Damn, that’s sad! Take a listen:

Those lyrics are heartbreaking!

Could this be about her messy love triangle with her mother Tish?? Last year, it was revealed Noah was actually dating Prison Break star Dominic Purcell for MONTHS before her momma stole him away! Noah was also reportedly left off the guest list at the couple’s 2023 wedding. Brutal! A source previously told Us Weekly that Tish’s behavior “felt like a betrayal” to the Ponyo alum — no kidding! — and it drove a wedge between the mother-daughter duo for a while.

Just as they were finally starting to repair their relationship, a s**tload of other Cyrus drama burst to the surface, too! In January, Billy Ray was in the hot seat after giving a concerning performance at President Donald Trump‘s inauguration. Noah’s older brother Trace claimed he and his sisters were “genuinely worried” for their father’s health and well-being after the shocking gig, which only angered the patriarch more.

That said, Noah has made a point to stand by the Achy Breaky Heart artist, such as by supporting the release of his new song. She even teamed up with her brother Braison, who has defended Billy Ray, on this brutally honest track. Discussing his involvement and the meaning of the tune, she said in a statement via E! News:

“My brother observed our family dynamics and how in some ways I’d take it all upon my shoulders and he wrote that for me. We’ll always be there for each other, and I wanted to honor him with that performance.”

Sweet! It sucks that she feels all the drama has been put on her shoulders when she’s the youngest of six!

Thoughts? What do you think of the song? Tell us (below)!
