The bond between a mother and a child is like nothing else in the world, and breastfeeding is a big part of that!
No one knows this better than Penelope Cruz, who just gave birth to her baby girl Luna back in July, and is loving every moment with her daughter!
The 39-year-old actress scored the cover of Allure magazine’s January 2014 issue, and in it, the topic of suckling her daughter came up! Penelope said:
“I’m supposed to get extra calories because breast-feeding you burn, like, an extra 500 a day. I was breastfeeding my son (Leo) 13 months, and I plan to do the same with my daughter. [Nursing] is addictive. It’s hard when the day comes when you have to stop.”
Aww! That’s sweet that she loves it so much!
And 13 months still gives Penelope lots of time to continue bonding with her little angel!
