Thankfully someone has stepped in to save these dogs!
Police in the Phillipines raided a dogfighting ring in a town south of Manila. The cops saved around 300 dogs!
Two South Korean men and four Filipino security guards were arrested in the raid. Police also seized tons of hi-tech equipment, including hi-def cameras and several computers.
Metal fuel drums served as “shelters” for the dogs and 23 dogs had to be euthanized on site.
If convicted, the detained criminals will get a maximum of two years.
This is DEFINITELY not long enough!
