Pigeon Racing Gambling Ring Has Been Shut Down!!!

PETA has done it again!!
Oakland’s DA office has charged three individuals with organizing pigeon races and violating the state’s anti-gambling policies.
This has occurred after PETA spent fifteen months witnessing illegal pigeon races and people gambling on bids up to $250,000!
Here’s what a representative of PETA said:

“The police and prosecutors have made it clear that illegal gambling on pigeon racing will not be tolerated. AU races are about thousands of dead birds and hundreds of thousands of dollars in illegal bets, and this important case has exposed those realities to the public.”

Pigeons who are involved in the race are usually unable to find their loft again.
Plus the losing pigeons ultimately have their necks wrung.
Disgusting!
We hope this puts an end to these malicious acts!
