Princess Catherine Makes First Public Appearance Since Finishing Chemo -- Here's What She Was Seen Doing!

Princess Catherine showed out!

Well, sort of. On Sunday, she made her first public appearance since the completion of chemotherapy when she and her husband Prince William were spotted attending a church service at Crathie Kirk Church near the royal family’s Balmoral Castle in Scotland. The appearance wasn’t an official royal event or anything like that — although we know that Kate has been working on putting some of those together. Rather, it was just a private, meaningful worship service. But she stepped out all the same!

In the photos of this very brief but very notable appearance, Kate Middleton could be seen in the passenger seat of a car right beside Prince William as he drove to the church for Sunday’s worship service. Per the US Sun, which was the first outlet to share the pics on Sunday afternoon, the 42-year-old mom of three flashed a brief smile as she was snapped by photographers seated next to her 42-year-old husband.

Fashion-wise, Kate was on point just like she always is: she donned a wide-brimmed dark green hat for the church service, and was wearing a brown tartan-checked coat to match. For his part, William wore an appropriate and understated dark suit. And it appeared even through the glare of the car’s windshield that he was still rocking that beard! It looks great on him, TBH.

You can see the snaps for yourself (below):

BTW, King Charles and Queen Camilla were also photographed making their way to the church for Sunday’s service, too. So, it was truly a family affair over the weekend. That’s really nice!

But the big story here, obviously, is Kate. The church sighting is her first public appearance since her announcement a few weeks ago that she’d finished a long run of chemotherapy in her fight against cancer. Now, the mom to Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, will try to return to some semblance of a normal life for her family — and for her royal duties.

Her husband has already been pretty busy on that trail when it comes to public appearances once again after a long and private summer. And now, we have no doubt Kate is walking that same path, albeit at her own slower pace following her valiant battle against cancer. We continue to send love and light! Thoughts and reactions, y’all?? Share ’em (below)!
