Reality TV Star Wants To Be A Serious Jewelry Designer

If you recall, last year we told you how Real Housewives of New York star Kelly Bensimon started her own jewelry line of Navajo-inspired pieces.
And now the 42-year-old is moving away from reality TV to focus on her line, Kelly by Kelly Killoren Bensimon.

The collection is said to combine metals, crystals, leathers, and feathers and will be moderately priced, ranging from $50-$150.
Says Bensimon:

“One of the most influential icons for me has always been Raquel Welch. Wrapped in suede and golden-tanned skin, Welch in One Million B.C. epitomized raw beauty.”

And as part of a PR stunt her good nature, she also designed some limited edition jewelry for charity.
One of those is a pair of white ostrich feather earrings with Swarovski crystals with proceeds going towards Feeding America.
We’re betting Ke$ha‘s the first in line to buy those things. Well, maybe the only one in line.
