We’re genuinely sad to see that these two kids couldn’t make it work.
Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal were reportedly fighting a lot over the past few months ultimately ending their relationship on the phone.
Jake was ready to get married, but Reese wasn’t confident in his step-parenting abilities for her two young children Ava and Deacon with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe. A source explains:
“She really worried that they didn’t have enough in common. When she was giving all of her energy to Jake, she felt like she wasn’t giving her kids enough. He was great with the kids, but she felt like he didn’t get the whole scope of what that entailed.”
Apparently there was “no drama” in their break-up with no infidelity of any kind, just a general parting of ways.
