Aw pooper, we were SO looking forward to a slick Ke$ha MEGA smash, encrusted by Rihanna‘s flawless Diamonds!
Rumors roared like hungry lions about a potential RiRi & Ke$ha collaboration on Ke$ha’s new album Warrior after the Die Young singer posted THIS confusing image to her Twitter page…
But from the lips of Ke$ha’s big-wig producer Dr. Luke himself, there is not — and was never — a Rie$ha duet planned… at least not for Warrior!
The beat-healing Doctor expressed:
“I’m going to tell you right now: There’s no Rihanna. I don’t know where that came from. I’ve seen it all over the place, but there’s definitely not a Rihanna song on it. Iggy Pop is on the record, Patrick [Carney] from the Black Keys is on it, another sick drummer we have is Fabrizio Moretti from the Strokes on it and [frontman] Julian Casablancas plays on some stuff and Wayne Coyne from the Flaming Lips did a song.”
Welly well well, that is QUITE the indie-stuffed, eclectic line up!
We are already obsessed with Ke$ha’s just released single Die Young, and can’t wait to hear the rest of Warrior when it slams onto the music scene this December 4…
Despite the absence of Rihanna’s Diamond sparkle!
