He’s not that innocent!
Before he was starring in movies, Robert Pattinson had a much less respectable job: stealing porno magazines from a local newsstand and selling them to his classmates!
The Twilight alum made the confession on Howard Stern‘s SiriusXM radio show, revealing he was kicked out of his elite school in south west London for running an illegal adult magazine business.

While none of his classmates “knew at all what to do with” the stolen porno magazines, R. Patz remembered selling them “for a lot of money,” admitting:
“I used to go in (the store) and take, like, one or two, and then put them in my bag. I was in my school uniform when I was doing it, and it was kind of risky. At the end, I got so cocky that I would take the entire rack.”
And we thought Kristen Stewart lived on the edge…
Even after his illegal operation started getting out of hand, the Good Time star used his developing acting skills to play it cool. He recalled:
“I remember the guy who worked in the store shouting, like, ├óΓé¼╦£Hey!’ and then my two friends ran off, and I turned around, like, ├óΓé¼╦£What?’ I walked back up to him. I hadn’t zipped up my bag. This guy is pulling out all these porno magazines – and it was when porn used to have, like, VHS tapes in the plastic sheet with it – and he’s pulling all these things out, and I was sitting there humiliated with all the old people looking at me disgusted. I was like, ├óΓé¼╦£Don’t call the cops, call my parents,’ and I was trying to make up a lie of where I lived… I was terrible.”
But Pattinson’s cockiness bit him in the ass in the end, as his friends later ratted him out. He added:
“Basically, a couple of days later, everything fell down. Basically, every single one of my friends snitched on me.”
Well, he was bound to get caught eventually. But apparently, this naughty streak followed Rob all the way to Hollywood years later.

The 31-year-old said he almost lost the role of Edward Cullen because he took his part as a vampire too seriously. Reflecting on his audition in front of producers, he revealed:
“I thought I was pretty safe. They flew up and were, like, ├óΓé¼╦£You have to do the opposite of what you’re doing now or you’re going to get fired today.'”
Thankfully it all worked out in the end!
These days, the actor is enjoying a very private relationship with singer FKA Twigs, but he maintains dating anyone in the entertainment industry is difficult. He noted:
“Most people, they may think they want to have a relationship with you. But if they start having a relationship with you, they actually realize ├óΓé¼╦£This is not what I want at all.’ It’s, like, you get all the crazies. You can’t do anything. There’s a big imbalance in the relationship and stuff. It’s a tough relationship.”
Sounds like he has a specific “tough” relationship in mind, but we’ll save that for another day…
