When Ryan Phillippe went on Howard Stern, you’d expect him to talk shiz about his exes, but instead he just mentioned that he’s tired of taking the blame for the demise of former relationships.
“I have a new rule: not to date anyone who has a publicist,” said Phillipe.
It turns out that while he and Abbie had broken up in private, he was not prepared for her public statement regarding their relationship status.
“Who announces a breakup? I don’t understand that! There’s no need for that,” he continued. “I’ve been dumped on in the press for relationship stuff since Reese [Witherspoon] and i divorced.”
And he’s had enough!
“I’m tired of getting s*** on,” said Ryan. “I don’t feel like I deserve it. Things happen! How many people have you broken up with over your life?”
It’s true that Ryan has taken a lot of crap regarding the divorce with Reese, but they are on great terms now!
“After I had my breakup, she called, and after she did, I called,” he added.
Good for them. But we’re sure he’s still gonna get crap for his romps with the ladies! Can’t win ’em all!
