Whoa! The creator of Sex And The City dropped a major bomb about the original casting of the series!
In a new interview, Darren Star revealed Sarah Jessica Parker, ahem Carrie Bradshaw’s main loves, Mr. Big and Aidan, almost didn’t exist.

Well, just not as how you know them.
Star spilled that Chris Noth and John Corbett aren’t who he initially had in mind to play their now-famous characters!
He confessed:
“I was thinking of Alec Baldwin for Big initially [in Sex and the City]. I don’t really watch Law & Order, but I met with Chris Noth and thought he was perfect. I remember the first table read, how good he was. I’m not saying that Chris was Mr. Big, but he brought a lot of his own persona to the role├óΓé¼┬ª We initially were thinking about Aidan Quinn for Aidan, but I think he wasn’t available. I loved John Corbett in Northern Exposure, and we were like, ├óΓé¼╦£Well, what’s John Corbett been up to?’ He just had the laconic, dudish vibe. But we kept ├óΓé¼╦£Aidan’ because we loved the name.”
After six seasons and two movies, it’s almost hard to imagine Alec or Aidan being able to fit in those roles.
Can you see it??
