Comcast Entertainment Group has bought the exclusive basic cable rights to the hit HBO show which has been airing in syndication on TBS since 2004!
“‘Sex and the City’ is an anthem for women today,” says CEG VP Cyndi McClellan. “The series has remained a pop culture phenomenon for over 10 years and still attracts new fans.”
Both E! and sister network the Style Network will begin airing the show in January, with the SATC movie premiering in July on E!.
A little more fitting than TBS!
