Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp was doing a Q&A by his lonesome at Chicago Comic-Con last week and may have accidentally let a Season 3 detail slip.
[SLIGHT SPOILERS BELOW]
A fan asked about what happened to the Byers family dog, Chester, who has sort of disappeared since season 1.

While we haven’t seen anything happen to the pet, Noah seemed convinced he had died — even referencing seeing his grave while filming season 3:
“Well, in this — I mean, I’m sure, you could tell, I guess. In this season there’s like a grave for him, that you see.”

Oh man, did they write the dog off the show between seasons? Did it tweet some racist shit?? LOLz!
For realz, apparently David Harbour has stated publicly the pooch was a terrible actor. So maybe they just thought they could save some time and money by giving him the old Barb treatment??
