'Suits' Canceled Less Than A Year After Meghan Markle Left

USA is taking off its Suits.
The announcement the show would air for just one more season comes barely nine months after the exit of Meghan Markle.
Fans of the show will know Rachel and Mike got married and left at the end of season 7 — leaving the show without the future Duchess AND costar Patrick J. Adams.

The show has seen a steady decline in viewership since, not uncommon for a show with a major cast shakeup. The fan faves were replaced in season 8 by new regulars including Katherine Heigl, which somehow didn’t seem to help. Huh.
Rumor has it USA has offered big bucks to Meghan to make one final appearance in the last season. Well, to a charity of her choice — she can’t accept payment from them anymore.
Obviously that enormous ratings boost won’t bring the show back to life, but it will give fans a nice sendoff — if she can work it into her busy schedule as a Royal mom!
