Could Taylor Swift and Conor Kennedy just be taking a break or have they really ended it for good?
Whatever the case may be between the young (ex?) lovebirds, the Kennedys STILL plan on honoring the country crooner at a December awards dinner!
Reportedly, Swifty will be receiving an honor at the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights’ Ripple of Hope Awards Dinner on December 3rd, which will be hosted by Conor’s grandma, Ethel!
The event will not only be attended by members of the Kennedy clan, but also by celebs like Glee’s Dianna Agron, Alec Baldwin and Matthew Broderick!
So will Conor and Taylor’s reunion at the gala be SUPER awkward???
A source close to the fam doesn’t think so, seeing as the family cites Taylor’s promo duties and Conor’s school schedule for their relationship’s demise!
The insider explained:
“Conor has gone back to school, and the deans at Deerfield are not happy about him jetting around with Taylor. He was due to attend an awards ceremony with her at the end of the summer, but the school chiefs put the kibosh on it. He can’t just leave school to be with her at every point.”
Supposedly, according to the Kennedy fam, the separation is only temporary!
Whether Conor’s family is in denial about the split or the couple really is just taking a breather, it’ll definitely be interesting to see Taylor and Conor’s interaction at the event!
Still, we’d have to imagine the situation would be a little bit awkward, regardless!
