One Of The Creepy Clowns Terrorizing Small Town California Is Actually An Art Project?! Deets HERE!

This story has picked up a lot of steam in the past 24 hours, so we knew an explanation wouldn’t be that far behind!
One creepy clown, who’s been accused of going bump in the night and terrorizing a small town in California, is actually an art project out of Wasco, CA…Seriously!!
KGET News 17 caught up with the couple responsible for the terrifying circus performer — and they admitted it’s all a part of a year-long photo project.

Talk about clowning around! Ha!
The duo wanted to remain nameless, but confessed to posting daily images on social media, anchored with clear watermarks reading “Photo by SSR.”
While one clown mystery is solved, this doesn’t explain the impostor monsters showing up in Bakersfield and other places along the west coast.
To ultimately take down their reign of terror (and slight fun), we’ve compared the real deal clown to its false counterparts:

The OG Wasco Clown has three slash marks across its left eye, and a distinct yellow costume with dark accents! One of the fakers (above) is donning a red and white ensemble, with a purple wig — while the other knock off clown wears a plastic mask.
So now that we know what to look out for, hopefully much of the public will be less scared…
Though we doubt it, with rogue circus peeps STILL roaming the streets!
