Laguna Beach had captured our hearts as we were forced to choose between frenemies Kristen Cavallari and Lauren Conrad following them through high school and all the drama that came with it…
But on this fateful day, exactly a decade ago, the network aired the first episode of LB‘s spinoff series The Hills, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the television gold that ensued.
We watched as LC’s relationship with former friend Heidi Montag crumbled at the hands of Spencer Pratt.
We saw the SoCal princess’ new BFF Audrina Patridge repeatedly get her heart broken by the infamous man with two names, Justin “Bobby” Brescia.
We cringed for Whitney Port every time she had to feign interest in all the producer-manufactured drama that seemed to surround her fellow Teen Vogue intern.
And of course, we’ve repeatedly binged the show’s addictive episodes since it came off the air almost six years ago.
Now, on the tenth anniversary of The Hills‘ premiere, we ask ourselves, “Hmmmmm. What are all these crazy kids up to now?”
It turns out they’re not so crazy — well, most of them, anyway — and they’re DEFINITELY not kids anymore!
