Thomas Jane Was Almost Don Draper!

If you could picture anyone else as Don Draper other that Jon Hamm, who would it be?
Drawing a blank? Us too. But when Jon admits that the role almost went to Thomas Jane… well, we can start to see it!
Here’s what Hamm had to say:

“I started, literally, on the very, very bottom — I couldn’t have had less heat on me. Nobody knew who I was. The casting directors didn’t know who I was. I wasn’t on anybody’s lists. … The funny thing was, I think they went to Thomas Jane for it, and they were told that Thomas Jane does not do television. Now starring in Hung, by the way.”

Why would anyone “not do” television? It’s arguably in one the most creative and prolific periods right now. There are seriously so many good shows on that we don’t have time to watch them all and it’s starting to piss us off!
But, in the end, we’re glad it went to Jon, and we’re glad Thomas is on Hung. Though, they could reverse the roles and we just might be okay with that!
