While we reported this past weekend that Tom Cruise’s attorney, Bert Fields, mentioned how the divorce battle between Tom and Katie Holmes would not be a “contentious matter,” it now seems quite the contrary!
Tommy boy is getting ready to fight dirty!!!
It├óΓé¼Γäós just been reported that Tom has hired famous divorce lawyer Dennis Wasser to rep him — the same lawyer he used when he split from Nicole Kidman eleven years ago!
Bet he’s glad he maintained THAT contact! Ha!
As we previously mentioned, Tom is planning on filing in California and getting the proceedings moved there, as well!
Katie however, filed in NYC on Thursday, where she hopes to have a better chance at being granted sole custody of little Suri!
We sure hope Katie is building up one hell of a legal team!
