It’s pretty cool that Tom will be performing a few songs for free tonight, including ones by Bon Jovi and Journey, as Stacee Jaxx while filming a scene for Rock of Ages!
Not only will it give him a chance to feel like a real rock star, but if you dress the part you could totally go see him rock it out later, if you’re in the Miami area that is!
Adam Shankman, director of the movie musical, initially leaked the details via Facebook in an appeal to find extras, urging fans to dress “Like the 80s! Big hair, make-up, and All Black rockin’ clothes.”
Tom confirmed the appearance to DJ Ryan Seacrest who is dating Cruise’s co-star Julianne Hough. Additionally he added that “the whole cast will be there,” which means we may very well be treated to the likes of Russell Brand, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Alec Baldwin together in 80’s costume.
We wish we could go!
At the very least we’d like to see some behind-the-scenes footage of this! How often can someone say they’ve seen Tom Cruise in concert??
Good luck Tom! Rock it out!
