Rollashoe, the makers of the rollable ballet slippers Footzyrolls, is being sued for trademark infringement by…wait for it…Tootsie Roll!
According to the candy maker’s lawsuit, the Footzyrolls name not only deceives consumers into thinking the shoe is associated with the Tootsie Roll brand, but also brings down the company’s value.
Rollashoe owners Sarah and Jenifer Caplan quickly fired back at Tootsie Roll, saying:

“This lawsuit is completely frivolous and has no merit. This is just another example of Tootsie Roll trying to bully a minority-owned women’s small business.”

Tootsie Roll is asking the Caplans to ditch the Footzyrolls name and be compensate them for damages.
P.S. Ya’ll might wanna stop selling the Footzy with the red soles before Christian Louboutin threatens you with his own lawsuit. Just sayin’.
