Yikes! Tory Lanez‘s prison stabbing was way more serious than initially described!
Just after 7 a.m. local time, the man who shot Megan Thee Stallion after a Kylie Jenner party in 2020 was the victim of a prison stabbing by another inmate at the California Correctional Institution at Tehachapi, where he is serving a 10-year sentence.
A state corrections official told TMZ the Canadian rapper was attacked with a prison shank and rushed to an off-site hospital before being airlifted to Kern Medical Hospital because his injuries were so serious. He was hospitalized in critical condition, and now his rep is sharing more about the incident.

In a statement posted to the 32-year-old’s Instagram on Monday, his team revealed the performer was stabbed 14 TIMES! And this resulted in two collapsed lungs. They detailed:
“Tory was stabbed 14 times — including 7 wounds to his back, 4 to his torso, 2 to the back of his head, and 1 to the left side of his face. Both of his lungs collapsed, and he was placed on a breathing apparatus.”
Holy s**t! That sounds intense!
The shocking part is that he’s already recovering and doing much better, the statement furthered:
“He is now breathing on his own. Despite being in pain, he is talking normally, in good spirits, and deeply thankful to God that he is pulling through. He also wants to thank everyone for their continued prayers and support.”

His attorney Jose Baez also told TMZ that his client is feeling “upbeat” and “in good spirits” as he focuses on healing. Noting he’s a “strong young” guy, it is expected the embattled recording artist will recover.
