Travis Kelce Talks About His 'Fun' New Year's Whirlwind With Taylor Swift After 'The Worst' Christmas!

Now THAT is how you ring in 2024!

To Travis Kelce, New Year’s Eve was the perfect day. For one, it included his Kansas City Chiefs clinching this season’s AFC West division title after beating the Cincinnati Bengals 25-17 that afternoon. Oh, and there was also that midnight smooch with girlfriend Taylor Swift to celebrate as the calendar turned to the New Year. Not bad! Especially compared to Travis’ tough Christmas (at least from a football-playing perspective)!

On Wednesday, the newest episode of Travis’ podcast New Heights dropped. Of course, he hosts that show with his brother — Philadelphia Eagles lineman Jason Kelce. And during this latest ep, the 34-year-old tight end got real about how great NYE was both on the field and afterwards with Taylor!

For one, the pop superstar was one of MANY guests at Arrowhead Stadium who came on Travis’ invitation. The Kelce bros’ mom Donna Kelce was also there, along with dozens of others! Travis noted:

“The atmosphere was great on New Year’s Eve. … It was cool, man, to have all the friends and family. I think I had over 50, 55 people come in for this one.”

Then, after the game, everybody went out and celebrated! Patrick Mahomes‘ favorite on-field target noted subtly:

“[After the game] we all got to celebrate New Year’s Eve together. It was a good New Year’s celebration with all the friends and fam.”

So fun!! But, like, that’s it?! No podcast chatter about the kiss?? No PDA pontification?! Come on, Travis! LOLz! After all, he and Taylor were infamously filmed locking lips on the dance floor as the clock struck midnight and the ball dropped on New Year’s. So we KNOW they had at least one very special private moment… and it was caught on camera by a sly partygoer!

Compare this with Christmas Eve, as you may recall, when the Chiefs lost to the Las Vegas Raiders in a demoralizing upset. At the time, Travis said the loss to LV made Christmas “f**king the worst, not gonna lie,” and even though it “ended well with good Christmas cheer and great people,” falling short on the field totally ruined the holiday.

Well, New Year’s Eve made up for it! Not only have the Chiefs clinched the AFC West and are zooming into the playoffs, but Travis and Taylor completely stole our hearts (as if they hadn’t already!) by smooching to ring in 2024!! Reactions, Perezcious readers!?
