Rocky is a pit bull, and like many others, he was used as a living burglar alarm.
Because of this, the poor little guy was kept outside, no matter what the weather was, chained to a flimsy little dog house, no life, no friends or family… no love.
An even worse story is about Brutus.
Brutus broke free off his chain and nearly got his ear ripped off by another dog.
Yet his owner didn’t care enough to even see how serious the injury really was.
He just chained Brutus back up and back into his warm home, while Brutus could only lay in his doghouse in anguish.
So terrible!
These are just two of the countless pit bull abuse cases PETA’s Community Animal Project and Emergency Response Team have dealt with recently.
The only true way to stop cruelty against pit bulls and all dogs in general is to make sure to spay and neuter dogs to curb their population.
Adopt, don’t shop.
