Out of the Michael Vick dogfighting tragedy may come prosperity for hundreds of neglected animals if the organization Dogs Deserve Better raises $600,000 to purchase the NFL player’s former Surry County home by March 20th.
The group is using a Facebook page that asks 999,999 people to join and donate only $1.00 in hopes of turning the property Vick once used as a dogfighting ring into an animal sanctuary!
The group is currently approaching only 2,000 members, but has already raised $10,000!
