Taking on the role of the Joker is no easy feat!
Jared Leto took an interesting approach for getting into character for the upcoming Suicide Squad movie — which didn’t bode well for his costars.
That’s because according to Viola Davis, the actor tapped into his inner evil lunatic by freaking out the other cast members before they even started filming!

In a new interview with Vanity Fair, the How To Get Away With Murder star explained that the 30 Seconds to Mars frontman gave the cast of the anti-hero action flick some “really horrific gifts” on set, recalling:
“He had a henchman who would come into the rehearsal room. And the henchman came in with a dead pig and plopped it on the table and walked out. And that was my introduction to Jared Leto.”
Yikes! That’s some first impression.
But the dead pig wasn’t the only gift Leto bestowed upon his squad… The 44-year-old later sent Margot Robbie a live rat in a box, which she apparently kept!
